It is Monday, June 7, 2010. Only five days to go before the new Contemporary Christian band Angel Road makes its public debut at the International Bazaar at Mary Queen of the Rosary Catholic Church in Spencer, Massachusetts. This blog will attempt to chronicle the history of Angel Road, from its beginnings up to now. We'll also use this blog for anyone who wants to know more about the band, its members, and its hopes and dreams for the future.

Ok, it's now 8 years since I wrote this. The gig at the Bazaar went well, even though it was a rainy day, but Angel Road would only play three more gigs the rest of 2010. After an argument with the bandleader and drummer I left Angel Road in the fall of 2010. After about a year and a half off I went on to my next musical adventure and in March off 2012 I joined a new band forming, a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute band called Petty Larceny. This band has been far more successful than Angel Road ever was, still together in its seventh year and playing successful gigs in places like Foxwoods and Indian Ranch. Meanwhile, Angel Road reached the end of the line about two years after I left.
